An Application Programming Interface (API) is a digital bridge that allows digital applications used in the lab – such as software, platforms, and sometimes equipment – to connect to each other. It can play a critical role in the lab, streamlining the transfer of data reliably from one application to another.
So, can the API of an electronic lab notebook (ELN) help you integrate data processes and improve efficiency in the lab? If so, how can this be done?
In this webinar, we have invited speakers to share their practical experiences of implementing SciNote’s RESTful API in their organizations, and how they utilize it to automate lab processes – from the generation of bills of materials, to the integration with scientific databases and platforms. SciNote’s Director of Development Miha Mencin will also join the webinar to answer your API questions and share useful considerations you need to know to take advantage of the API of an ELN in the lab.
This webinar will be hosted by Theresa Liao, Content Specialist, SciNote.
In this webinar, the panelists will discuss:
After 11 years in broadcasting, 3 in finance, and 14 in Pharma/Biotech, my technology work has progressed from helpdesk, through network and *nix systems admin, to full-stack development and most recently, what we’ve all decided to call “data engineering.” I have an affinity for open, flexible systems that enable the crafting of novel solutions which help solve the current problem, as well as the next one, with as little effort, and as much amusement as possible.
