Gilson & SciNote Introduced The Concept Of IoT At SLAS 2019
1 min read
SciNote team packed the bags and went off to Washington DC, USA earlier this month, to attend the SLAS 2019 conference, one of the most prominent global community building events for life scientists and lab technology providers.
While SciNote`s functionalities gained a lot of interest among more than 5,500 attendees, the first place »attention award« went to the Internet of Things (IoT) concept, Gilson Connect, developed by Gilson and SciNote.
Our teams demonstrated the easy and user-friendly manner in which Gilson’s new bluetooth-enabled electronic pipette, PIPETMAN® M Connected, and SciNote are interconnected through a straightforward workflow, demystifying some of the common assumptions and concerns of lab automation and digitization.
Additionally, reports in SciNote and the Manuscript Writer add-on, which uses AI to generate a draft of a scientific manuscript based on its user’s research data, shared the second place »attention award« and sparked a great amount of compelling questions during the interviews, demos and at the press conference as well.
Thanks to all who came by our booth!
